    I kindly advise everyone to AVOID this place at all costs. The worst experience of my life, without exaggerating. We went there to grab a lunch on friday after the market. We got our entrées, ate them, chatted and realised it has been about 45 minutes that we have been waiting for out main dishes. We weren’t really hungry but we noticed that 4 of the tables that came after us already finished their meals. I called the waiter wanting to ask him what’s happening but he just said “your meal will come
    In one minute” passing by. We said ok, but 10 minutes passed by and still no meal. I called him again and asked what’s happening to which he very arogantly replied “I already said it will come i one minute”. With a smile on my face I asked him if he could tell me what the problem was since it seems that everybody got the meals except for us. His respons was - well i already said it will be one minute, I tossed your plates and now the meals have to be prepared one more time, To that I said, ok, mistakes happen but you should have told us that just for us to know what’s happening because the waiting time is a bit long, to which he rolled his eyes, sighed and said ok, next time i’ll tell you. I was shocked with the level of communication and decided to get up and pay inside at the counter where the lady gives out receipts. When he saw us and we explained that we will leave because we were extremely unsatisfed with the level of communication and service and pay for the stuff that we consumed he told the lady that we don’t want to pay. She didn’t even ask us as the customers what the problems was just said, no, you have to pay. I wanted to explain what happend but she started yelling at me, forcing every customer in the restaurant to look at us as if it was a circus and not a restaurant in the center of Dijon. She started calling me names, yelled at me that I was rude, that I had no manners, started insinuating that French people have manners and decincy unlike me ( I spoke French with her, but I have an accent), it was horrible, i never experienced something like that. She just wanted for me to pay and tried so hard to make the situation uncomfortable. She said I don’t care if you’re not happy, I don’t care you waited, I don’t care if you leave a bad review, but you have to pay. I was shaking how uncomforyable it was, words can’t even describe. The entire restaurant was unconfortable from the scene she created, this level of unprofessional behaviour was something I never experienced. I asked to speak to manager to explain the situation but she said he wasn’t there and if I don’t want to pay that she will call the police. I said I do want to pay, but only for the things that were on my table and for nothing else and that she can call the police. Ofcourse she didn’t because there was no reason, it was just an obvious tactic to try and scare a foreigner. I don’t know how long i stood there like an idiot, and after a while I got tired because she just kept on throwing insults. I said that we have 3 options: for me to pay for my stuff, for them to call the manager or for them to call the police, and that I will accept any of them. Seeing that I won’t be scared with the police tactic, they decided to give me the receipt. Horrible, horrible. The waiter had short black hair and was maybe 25 years old, and the lady was in her 40s or 50s with long black hair, pierced belly button and tattoos, if you decied to go eat there and see the two of them, be prepared fot the worst. And if the manager is reading this, reevaluate the competence of those two employees because the scene that that lady made in your restaurant with all the guests is unbelievable. Horrible service, horrible people.
